Appointments: All new client's need to be Gatewayed face to face (see drop in times above). Appointments are then made for clients if needed with an appropriate adviser.

Car Parking outside Bureau. Wheelchair access. Home visits available for clients who are unable to visit Bureau because of access issues or caring responsibilities.

Home visits available from Welfare Rights, Employment and Debt Specialists.

Travel / Direction 

Based in Garth Park Bicester adjacent to the Bicester Town Council Offices.

Specialist Advice

Bicester CAB employs a specialist Welfare Rights and Employment Consultant offering advice and support to clients including representation at Tribunals.

Specialist Debt advice is also available to clients of Bicester CAB.  Working with Banbury CAB and Sanctuary Housing we offer advice to tenants who need Money Advice.  Clients who are at risk of Homelessness can also access specialist advice via Bicester CAB.

 

Additional information

Clients of Bicester CAB who are experiencing hardship can benefit fron Foodbanks in Bicester and Kidlington (North Oxfordshire Foodbank). We work in partnership  with both Foodbanks to ensure that clients can access this valuable service.

  • IT support co-ordinators

    The CAB Service is increasingly taking advantage of developments in IT. As an IT support volunteer you may be involved in a variety of areas, depending on your skills.

  • Gateway Assessors

    Gateway Assessors are a client’s first point of contact, after the receptionist. They carry out the initial diagnosis of a client’s enquiry, identifying the ‘next steps’.

    Because every CAB is a registered charity, each has its own board of trustees. Some trustee roles require specific skills, but bureaux welcome people of all ages, backgrounds and experience to their trustee boards.
